At $99 - $150, this is perfect for a garage. I listen to mainly hard rock and heavy metal music, with a little bit of techno thrown in.
Yamaha's bass and treble setting are +1. The bass is tight and powerful yet punchy.

Good for rap/hip hop/electric/dubstep. More accurate than any approaching the low price of this sub.
Cons
This sub doesn't even come close to 30 hz. The only reason i purchased this sub, was to replace the polk audio.

Plays low measured at 23hz usable with a steep dropoff after starts droping off at 28hz enough for any movie needs loud enough for small room as well

No complaintsalthough the cord was badly tangled upon arrival so im hoping that didnt cause damage but they have a 5 year warranty apparentlyvery good it goes pretty low
