Pros

The machine is programmed to do its own descaling cycle so can't be rushed. Bought seperate. My good buddy has one of these and suggested i invest the extra for a better model.

Needs to be cleaned every few months with the de'longhi cleaner, takes ten or fifteen minutes. Works fantastic after a month or so of using.

Cons

This coffee machine is rubbish. This one is so light and flimsy. A real pity given delonghi are supposed to be a leading brand.

The machine has barely any pressure, and certainly not enough to make an espresso coffee. The machine works only with course ground beans and not with espresso grinds. Pointless choice of steamed or hot milk- fiddly little twist always slipping up.

The filter comes off the filter holder and gets stuck in the device when i try to remove it. Power switch randomly stops working unless switching off at the plug. The filter holder gets stuck to the water outlet unless you empty it soon/same day as us... Read More

At this price level, there did not seem (understandably) to be a perfect machine - all had some drawbacks.

Used only for a few days but compared with a similar category of the same brand, this machine is all the money around.
