Pros

Black, shiny & looks great. Only downside is the lid when you open it to fill it. It is a very quick pourer as it has a wide spout.

This de'longhi kettle is the quietest i've ever owned. It boils quickly and pours perfectly. Only bought the kettle because of the colour was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised.

Cons

Bad- faulty lid after a few months. Lid pops up, it spits. The locking mechanism is poor.

I live alone so the kettle gets minimal use. Leaves an awful chemical taste in your drink unless the kettle is emptied and refilled. The kettle can be over-emptied.

Really good kettle and i got it while it was on a lightning deal, it only cost me £11.

Packaging/appearance

Review, is the level indicator is behind the handle making it difficult to see the water level in the kettle.

The biggest flaw for me is the water level viewing window is under the handle which makes it harder to see how much water is in the kettle.
