Pros

The toaster looks great and when its paired up with the matching kettle it lifts the look of the kitchen nicely. Bought in the pale blue colour as a lot cheaper than the beige at the time.

Bagel function is neat and the wife loves it. Frozen bread toasts just as well with the defrost function. Easy clean crumb trays.

Cons

It toasts very unevenly, burning the bottom while the top is barely toasted at all, while also toasting one side more than the other. We pressed the 'defrost' button and on both occasions have found the one side of the bread hardly toasted.

The one lever refuses to stay down. Will be requesting a full refund.

Overall it is a £72 toaster that performs like one for a fiver. Biggest problem is the lack of longevity. We have persevered with 3 and have now given up.

My experience seems to be out of kilter with the rest of the feedback. But sheer disappointment.
