You can see the water level so you know when its ready to empty out

If you plan to have it running all the time theres also the option of passive draining but we only plan to use this occasionally and find it easier to empty the water ourselves

You can set what level humidity you prefer and theres also a 24h timer that turns off in case you forget or youre not present in order to prevent any disasters
