Pros
The quality of brew is great. The coffee tastes great and is delivered at the right temperature. Cremea is delicious on its own as well.
It’s very important to always steam and froth your milk first! The wand is pretty short, and it will make huge froth instead of micro bubbles that makes it silky for latte art. The frothing wand is excellent; it produces velvety microfoam.
It makes a great espresso. After a year of extremely heavy use, it still growls out professional-grade expressos. Unit is a bit noisy as any manual espresso unit is -- but not overly loud.
The spectacular design makes it a veritable high-end objet d'art to astonish my guests. As an extra likable attribute, it's easy to clean, and keep neat and shiny. It's great for beginners!
It needs to be refilled every few days. I use this thing multiple times a day and it's awesome. I recommend for anyone first try when is empty the holder to know how works.
Cons
This machine lacks adequate power to make coffee at the correct espresso grind level. If you grind it to an actual espresso level of fineness, the machine cannot produce espresso because it cannot get water through the coffee.

Price
I bought this "used like new" and saved over $100.
It is saving me money and is definitely worth it.
Don't get suckered into buying something that makes you spend a ton of money on coffee pods.
It was a lot more expensive when we purchased.
Packaging/appearance
Looks like someone bought it, took it out of the box, realized it wasn't the one that took the nespresso pods and sent it back.
Competitiveness
I have "two" of these exact de'longhi machines.
Your selection of coffee beans may matter more and milk-based drinks like cappuccino make this distinction less important.
