It was fairly easy to set up, which i'd discarded the rather confusing instructions, went online instead.
Competitiveness
We had a gaggia brera which was really good but took a lot of maintenance and the milk was hard work.
Stainless steel finish is amazing and it’s a doddle to setup.
I have had coffee machines since 1975 - i have had two gaggia machines (the very original expresso machines ever).
The milk container or frother use the same connection to the machine.

The supplied manual makes set up seem quite complicated its on the long side and sometimes assumes a familiarity with the machine that new users wont have

Imo the quickest way to get this up and running with the water filter correctly installed if you live in a hard water area and the water hardness setting correctly adjusted is to use the brief guidance videos on the support pages of the manufacturers website

The drip tray is quite wide so the machine can accommodate even widebased mugs

The machine includes quite a lot of selfcleaning functions including a quick rinse through of the twin pourer whenever the machine is switched off and it may be worth keeping a spare cup or jug close by so that when the rinse functions are engaged theres somewhere for the waste water to go other than into the drip tray
