Pros & Cons
Pros
Super easy to use with no complicated prepping. It is quite compact and light, and nicely tucked in a corner space on our counter. Worth every penny.
Take care not to scald your milk or cream though. The machine makes great espresso and cappuccinos but it does take time to make these delicious beverages.
This is a beautifully designed and well-crafted machine. No machine in this price range has a three way valve. The nobs have a better, tighter, feel but lack as much of the snappy click as my old machine.
Be respectful and courteous in your comments and emails to me," he says. In four years a few improvements have been made.
Cons
As an avid expresso drinker, this machine was a complete let down. No salía el café. Al poco ya no funcionó la luz cuando el café está listo. Ahora no sale nada de nada of café.

The two mode wand is helpful for getting warm slightly foamed milk but it will not give you anything resembling microfoam.
Price
I am absolutely satisfied with this machine—especially for $55!
), which is what i could afford *right now*, it’s fantastic!
And at this price point i would never pay hundreds more to get that 10 out of 10.
No machine in this price range has a three way valve.
Packaging/appearance
I've had friends that had machines but it always looked very complicated.
Competitiveness
I've tried at least 5 different espresso makers between $200-$400 after i moved and had to get rid of the first one i bought.
We wanted a machine that allowed us to use our choice of beans, and not held to one brand.
I imagine the $200+ machine has a better steamer.
You need a gaggia classic or better for that.
