This one seems to be a dud. It buzzes loudly for about 10 seconds, then goes really quite. Eventually the coffee will drip out really slowly.

I used it daily until it broke.

Previously this whole section could be lifted off and washed, now you can't do this.

For the price and with that design, 5 stars.

Overall, for a first foray into making your own espresso at home, for under £200 this is an excellent buy.

Edit: works fine, maybe i just had too high expectations for the price paid.

If this is not included with model eco311 l will gladly pay for one so i can enjoy my cappuccino in style.

I was surprised to see some changes in the design in comparison to the older model.

However, it's not as well designed as previous de longhi machines i've had.
