Kettle is really substantial and stylish. No leaking, easy to keep clean and the inbuilt filter in spout means less limescale.

Main gripe is the * quality of the trim. It's fixable, but who wants to faff around with electrical bits. Only issue is it has broken after 25 months - just outside of any warranty.

This is the loudest kettle i have ever owned, ridiculously loud. The noise of this kettle is so bad we have to pause tv in the next room because we just can't hear anything over the roar of the kettle in the kitchen.

The lid is stiff and awkward to remove so it is easier to fill it from the spout. Even if the kettle is cold, it still ends up splashing the area.

It is also extremely noisy, like space shuttle taking off noisy. Not noticed the loud sound too much, a little when warming up maybe. It's very noisy2.
