I carefully remove the packaging, look everything over, and it seems ok.
Competitiveness
The milk frother works well; i've only used it on the top setting so far, so can't speak to how the 3 levels compare to each other.
But, i was comparing that to my commercial rancillio from the shop, which i knew wasn't fair.
It’s like going to a starbucks but better it has so many options.

When it arrived it was packed in a typical amazon shipping box

After unboxing from the amazon box i noticed a pretty decent size gash in the outer delonghi box on the bottom of the short side front

Likely this was damaged at the amazon warehouse or somehow in their package handling process
