i empty the inside of excess water and used grinds about every 3-4 brews and this prevents any overflow problems. Easy peasy. Cleaning it is real easy. I pull out the tray and empty the two containers every three-4 cups and it’s not an issue.

It's very messy. It appears to use around 1/3 cup of grounds for a 16oz brew, so it goes through the bean's hopper pretty quickly. The sensors that alert when the grinds are full and need to be emptied are not well tuned.

Less than 3 months in and needing to send to manufacturer for repairs. Have struggled finding anyplace to repair the machine. This is our first delonghi, but i’m really unhappy with the brand now. Replacement is a failure also.

It just resets itself when i try. No more coffee, no more coffee" "no return box/instruction.

Please do your research before purchasing this item. I am not ok with how de'longhi is responding. I was interrogated for more than 30 minutes on the phone to prove that there was indeed a problem with the carafe.
