Pros & Cons
Pros
The graphics are amazing, and i can run it in full 1080p with anti-aliasing and ansiotropic filtering with no lag at all on my laptop. Singleplayer is ok in this game. Multiplayer is where it shines.
If you are a fan of dead space without any doubt is a must have. Has to be the best third-person shooter of the year.
The one gripe is have is that this game is so great. One door malfunctioning and locking you in with all these crazy monsters is freaky. The game still packs a pretty impressive survival horror punch.
My favorite part of the game is the coop, by far. I am not a fan of this kind of drama, but it doesn't detract too much from the underlying arch.
Cons
Game is not downloaded from amazon. Not knowing when the game will save is very frustrating, especially when you're repeating a difficult part of the game.
Nothing destroys an immersive feeling better than a cut-scene where non-existent players suddenly appear and start talking to you. It's not really cerebral; it's just a brief startle.

Competitiveness
Definitely recommend playing with a co-op partner.
Old but great game can wait for ds4.
If you're an oldschool game player, you'll despise it.
