There inevitably comes a time when you need to cut a bolt down in length and we all know what happens then it becomes a challenge to thread the nut onto it

We have poles that extend to different lengths and a bolt is tightened to make it stay in place

The end of the bolt will get deformed and the threads will cross

Found out about this chamfering tool and that put a bevel on the end of the bolt so the threads dont touch the rod anymore

The grinding of the bolts are a kind of slow and require a little bit of practice but that no big deal
