Get a good strong flashlight to see the connection points. Easy to install too.
Received in timely manner. And works. Well packaged. Couldn't be any happier.
After ordering a number of cables and a lot of frustration at how few details there are in many descriptions, finally got this one. The heft, fit and finish of this cable is first rate. It fit perfectly and operates flawlessly.
Cons
Does not fit the craftsman yt 3000 deck, i pain for it. Installed and the darn spring is too long thereby causing the blades not too engage.

On this model the mower blades are activated by moving a lever on the top of the mower the other side of the steering wheel

Other cables that supposedly matched this description were only 4244 long too short to run between the lever and the mower bed

Note contrary to some youtube videos you do not need to remove the control arm bracket and in fact its a huge hassle to do so because one of the mounting screws is so hard to reach

My old one the cable started to fray on the spring side

You need to take off the 2 10 mm bolts that holds the gas tank to the mower remove tank and theres 3 14 hex head screws that hold the assembly together
