Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

The key to preventing cloudy strokes is to ensure your brush is wet at all times. Clear and glossy - easy to apply. Regular is also good but it doesn't give that thicker glassy look lime tbis does.

This is on all of my decoupage pieces! It's much better than the previous glaze i purchased. Terrific seller.

Cons

The crazing is so bad in places that it has actually cracked the acrylic paint beneath. It dries slightly foggy with a texture kind-of like fiberglass. It is not self leveling!

Very disappointed and frustrated at the loss of my work.

Good in a pinch but nowhere near as good as sculpey glaze. Not smooth at all. This isn't made to be very durable.

Quality

I used this for my wooden eyeball (yes that is a wooden eyeball) and it is super thick and dries actually pretty fast and is crystal clear.

It brushes on easily, and provides a nice glossy finish.

For anything that is painted onto plastic, you might want to dip rather than brush - it worked great when doing it that way, bu...  Read More

It took three coats to get chunky glitter to be even close to non-pointy.

Price

This stuff is my new favorite, when dry it still looks shiney and wet, its about 5$more than modpodge gloss but so worth the extra money.

And cheaper on amazon than on the decoart site

The shine/glaze was amazing but just a bit too small(8oz) for the price.

Shipping

My package arrived on time and the delivery person followed instructions.

Returned for exchange and the 2nd time around received exactly what i had ordered.

Packaging/appearance

It gives the painted beads a ceramic glazed appearance.

The center was painted with two gold hearts, and lettered in the names of the bride and groom.

Competitiveness

Not such a difference from other brands and coats.
