Pros

Every time i start my car, it's a breath of fresh air, literally and figuratively. Can't beat that anywhere.

Really impressed with dedc tesla filter kit. Comes with two filters and a value kit of tesla accessories. For reference, 2 of these filters with the tools are around $25-30, whereas tesla oems are $17 each and can be bought in the app.

After switching the filters and using a little evaporator coil spray the a/c smell was gone. Activated charcoal pellet cells on one side for odours and usual filter on the other side. The charcoal layer is what i care about the most.

Cleaning these every few months with the air compressor attachment could prolong the life of the filters. These filters work well for eliminating the dirty sock smell problem with teslas.

Cons

The tesla filters look to have much more filter media than these. Any deterioration risks ending up in the evaporator coil. As soon as you start up engine at low idle the clutch try’s to engage. It only engages 25%.

Easy process to swap them out with this set and i can already see the quality difference between stock and this aftermarket filter.

Only time will tell how long it lasts, but for now, very happy with the purchase!

Both filters were the same size and had no variation indicating that the quality is consistent.

This did not happen with the oem filters.

Price

I was expecting these to be less quality as the price was good, but they matched with the high quality ones i previously purchased.

While it’s not as excellent like oem, but the price is attractive.

Price is comparable with others although this is at the pricier range.

There are other filters out that that are pretty much the same as this and cost slightly less, but this comes with extras that other dont.

Packaging/appearance

The air sprayer, tools, and other miscellaneous bits were icing on the cake.

Also, it does not say "hepa" anywhere on the packaging, nor on the filters themselves.

It is a well-made product i ordered the wrong one though but a friend of mine ordered one also and it works great

I haven't installed it yet, but looks like it's a good-quality product.

Tesla wanted to charge me $550 to inspect the car.
