Pros

Defiant is the final book in the skyward series by sanderson. Thank you to suzy for doing the entire series the justice it deserves. Brandon sanderson does a great job of building suspense through the entire book.

There are only a few authors out for me who continue to outshine my expectations. Brandon sanderson is truly a gifted author. In the epilogue sanderson cleverly lays the groundwork for further adventures in this interesting universe.

Much like the sunlit man, the story rushes forward with an unrelenting pace and tension.

Cons

This book is way too dominated by defeats to be enjoyable. Just as no failures lead to the flat and predictable narrative, so does their excess. Spensa's my way or the highway attitude gets super old and just keeps dragging on.

This is honestly the best misprint i have ever bought.

Wars are horrible, but they are on the verge of extinction.

By the time i got to the misprinted section in this book, it was four days past the return window.

Such a long wait but soooooo worth.

It came on time and as described.

Everything was perfectly wrapped up and of course he left a door open to do more if he pleases.

Competitiveness

Another job well done and looking forward to seeing where sanderson takes the cytoverse next.

My one remaining challenge is to decide my favorite between defiant and skyward 😉
