We have tile and carpet and it works great on tile and is pretty good at picking up larger things crumbs etc off of the carpet

However with a cat and dog i will likely still have to use my “heavy duty” corded vacuum to get deep into the carpet

I’ve only used the vacuum a couple of times but so far it’s exactly what i expected
