Although it holds very well as you might expect with something mounted via suction cup theres a little bit of wobble to it when a heavy camera is attached so vibrations from the shutter release could be an issue

It comes with an adapter to mount hero cameras to it however if youre buying this primarily to use with a hero something to consider is that this unit is kind of the antihero philosophy instead of being ultra light to match the ultralight throwinyourbackpack hero this mount is fairly heavy so slrcompatible quality but at a cost in weight
