Pros

Dell's 1st 2350dn printer is fast and silent when not printing. The only thing i don't like is that the background area is not a uniform mass of gray, but instead has some gradations in some areas.

The printer also has a lot more options than i would ever require during my lifetime. Just need to periodically review usage reports. Exactly as promised.

Dell offers a 6,000 page replacement cartridge for a little over $100. It's so cheap to buy and you can get toner cheaper then most. I can refill the toner with a few tools.

March 4, 2014 update:i still highly recommend this printer.

I'm not going to give this model 5-stars, because it sounds louder than the very-very-similar dell 1720dn that it's replacing.
