I found my first at a thrift store 5 about a year ago and it still sounds great then today found another newer model dell at another thrift store also 5 and swooped that one up as a back up

I have had these since my old computer which was an xps 410 and i now have it with my new xps and it still works flawlessly but after 7 or 8 years i have started noticing some problems like the rare beeping and an occasional cutting out of the left speaker i always have the base nob turned all the way up and the sound quality has never gone down the only times when the sound quality went bad was when my computers audio mixer did something i didnt want it to do

My only complaint reason for not giving 5 stars is that they tend to pick up some interference when on and nothing is playing not a big issue usually but if my phone falls back to edge there is a very noticeable and inconsistent hum

I have this set of speakers and subwoofer with my dell desktop so when i purchasewd a new hp pavilion elite desktop with about the same sound card as the dellcould not pass it up

Maybe its because i was using dinky microsoft before but this is a serious upgrade
