However if you are going to buy this printer be sure never to use anything but dell ink cartridges

Not only did the socalled compatible cartridges not work and made a big mess of ink everywhere they permanently damaged the printheads

To print just select the printer and as long as it is turned on itll print

Al in all it is a great printer even for a mac user

After 1 week of frustration wherein each and every time i booted up my e machine pc my dell v313 would go through process of reinstalling drivers and software automatically without any effort on my part which extended my boot up time
