As an added bonus the dvi outputs will still allow you to autodetect the monitor and pick the optimum resolution

Frankly the only downer is that its not shiny new but to be honest if youre using it with a dell insprion e series laptop that wont be new either

The dell docking station is reasonably well built with plenty of options for different connections including digital video out
