Lots of stuff going trough the dock, and being used, no direct support.
All hooked up and driving 2 monitors, pulling network connection and a shared mouse/keyboard dingle between my laptop and desktop.
Competitiveness
This is the 6th docking station i purchased, because i wanted a cheaper option than the dell.
But the other 5 cheaper options did not work for one reason or another.
Recently tried a dell d6000 all purpose dock.

Ive used name brand and cheap brand docks in the past and i can tell you for certain you get what you pay for on these items

Doesnt matter which device we connect the dock is recognized by the laptop fist time every time

Initially bought a different smaller dock which didnt support 2x4k monitors as advertised and which had too short of a cord
