Pros & Cons
Pros
Clear and vibrant colours. Are good. Colours are vivid.
The u2515h has a full tilt and swivel adjustment system. It has a super slim bezel and a great colour reproduction. It also has a great 60hz refresh rate.
The factory calibration set-up (you're getting a note, saying that has been tested in dell labs) is okay. Purchased this monitor through amazon in conjunction with pcbuyit ltd.
Super thin bezels and qhd resolution make this a complete winner aesthetically. Viewing angles are very good too but being a matte ips display you do get some glow with *. The matte coating isn't as harsh as some other displays i have had. Also have t... Read More
The extra real estate compared to a hd monitor is a real eye opener. In this day and age, when one has to make screen purchases without seeing them live in a showroom, these facts become a major issue. The build in usb3 hub is really handy for connect... Read More
Cons
This monitor is not worth recommending to anyone. It is incompatible with a 2015 dell xps13 or its dell docking station. Using hdmi, i can get the full 2560 x 1440 resolution on my mac mini, but not on my desktop pc. Returned the product and ordered a... Read More
The anti-glare coating is terrible. My cheap tn panel does a better job at maintaining the picture colours off angle.
Highlights
Quality
Yes, it's a little more expensive than other qhd displays but the quality is worth it.
The quality is good and you can have two or three documents open side by side.
I was thinking hey, i'll probably stick with the hd resolution and just buy a good 25 monitor.
After having had this issue, i tried a good quality dp to minidp cable instead of the one supplied by dell.
Packaging/appearance
Packaging by amazon was one massive box with plenty of filling to pack the dell box which itself is built to withstand a tank d... Read More
Packaging is very solid and compact (and reusable for transport) and set up is a breeze.
The icons/texts on the win8 desktop were/are fine visible).
The unboxing was simple: just opening the box, pulling out the package, opening it (short of book) and simply connecting the st... Read More
Competitiveness
Extends display into 2560 x 1440, excellent colour reproduction, 60hz refresh rate.
It is much crisper than its 2415h sibling.
Having used this, i now get frustrated at the smaller 1920x1200 resolution that i use at work.
As a pc gamer i was torn between choosing this or a similarly priced 1080p g-sync monitor with a high refresh rate.

I tend to watch video on my television anyway but if thats a dealbreaker for you then id recommend something with a native 1080p resolution instead for now or possibly 4k as its a more common video format than 1440p
