Pros

Viewsonic vx2250wm-led is a 1920x1080 monitor. It comes with a calibration report. The color reproduction is superb out of the box, and with calibration it is amazing.

The clarity and the contrast is top notch. Absolutely mesmerizing. In normal use the image is stunning.

The display is clean and bright. The matte finish and thin, black bezels make it easy to view in a variety of lighting conditions. Anti-glare on this display is a nice finish that makes it feel a bit more luxurious.

Cons

Problem is so obvious that rear cover of the back of the unit i received partially blocks the port--rendering that usb port useless. There is even at least one other reviewer on this amazon offering that had the same problem.

I confirm what many others have posted here. This is simply unacceptable. Called dell twice. Not even going to bother opening the 2nd.

There are four capacitive touch * in the front bezel, each marked only by a faint white dot. The first one has a stuck pixel in the middle of the screen.

It distresses me as a customer that dell only gives refurbished parts as replacement for parts which have been found faulty. Bumped against it one day, vaccuuming.

For the right price, i would buy it again.

Packaging/appearance

The soft anti-glare coating is a nice touch.

It's just a weird thing to explain to folks when the computer isn't in use, and there are smears on the screen.

Moving it around my office or tilting it over to plug something in has resulted in several minor but irritating scratches on the screen.

Competitiveness

I use it exclusively on a 2017 macbook pro.

All-around workhorse, unless you're a cutting-edge gamer looking for refresh rates > 60hz (60fps).

A few caveats:1 - unless your device has a mini-dp port on it, buy a full-size dp cable!
