Built-in usb hub is something i love about dell monitors. I use this to display my macbook pro retina when docked and it's fantastic. I have it side by side with my 5k imac 27 as a second monitor.

My old ultrasharp was built like a tank. This thing is light and plasticy but works. This is easily the best monitor with these specs i have found. I'm an old retired guy that spends several hours daily sitting in front of a monitor.

The thin bezel looks beautiful. The stand is also sturdy and offers a range of positions which makes it handy. I keep this unit mounted on a monitor arm and because it's so light and thin i never worry about the arm falling.

This monitor provides great image colors and sharpness compared to my 9 year old samsung florescent 27'' 1920x1200 lcd. Not only is this monitor larger, it is also brighter and has a sharper image due to higher resolution.

Dell's u2717d is not covered by the manufacturer warranty. Dell needs to make large screen ultra hd monitors affordable.

A bad pixel appears after 40 days. If i connect the monitor directly to my m4800 via the * port on the laptop, the monitor does the same thing.
