I did not store oil inside the bottom so you do need to touch oil to clean the oil holder if you do not store it inside

Turn it to drain position and walk away it will drain even if it looks like it isnt

Works very well no leak issues at all one odd issue is that the temp dial has painted numbers that are becoming un readable i guess i will paint something myself in that area so i get a general setting guidleines

In some cases the cooking time needed to be adjusted but thats nothing

It does not reset properly if there is time remaining and i must manually click down the time to zero

So when you are getting your fry on you can fill the unit deeper just remember to skim off oil tomax level before attempting to clean and fill the resivor

It is good but no timer for frying lid must be placed away and not hinged
