Plates are easy to pop in-out and clean. Clean up is a snap making it worth bypassing the oven or stovetop. Floating hinge mechanism on the side.

The livenza is a grill and panini press. Adjustable lid allows the top plate to float above the food to melt cheese.

It looks like it went through the wars, but it has been seasoned over time and usually makes a perfect waffle. Eggs over easy.

Cons

The floating top plate heats up too fast. One of the griddle plates has scratches. It's definitely not the quality for a $300 grill/grindle.

Worth the extra cost if you enjoy perfect paninis, and the ability to make two sandwiches at once.

Well worth the extra dollars to get the internal heating elements that are within the plates versus underneath them.

I got this prime day on sale - $100.
