The exchangeable plates are so easy to switch out and wash. Clean up is a snap making it worth bypassing the oven or stovetop. The grill irons are dishwasher safe.

It is my go to appliance for grilling. I'm sure a george forman grill would have been easier to cart out to the picnic table. It has a great panini press and it cooks great waffles.

A damaged product was installed and packaged into the box in the first place. The handle has a rather large blemish on the top side, indicating that delonghi's product quality control is weak or non-existent.
