Pros

Follow instructions for amount of coffee to use and measure your coffee grounds with the included scoop. Easy to use, even for my in-laws. I tell my guests it is the coffee maker, since the coffee brand has not changed.

Coffee is fresh, very hot and stays that way and aromatic. Let's you pull out the carafe mid-brew if you can't wait. Regular setting brews at a normal speed.

Cons

The glass carafe is cheaply made - the glass is thin and fragile. Instructions says 60 cycles. I know when my coffee tastes off and needs descaling! The coffee is not very hot; we find ourselves putting our mugs in the microwave moments after pouring ... Read More

If not careful, can also burn yourself. This is a product that i would never ever recommend - for many reasons.

Top doesn't fit snuggly at all. Grounds tend to overflow and clog the drip hole.
