All in all, it does a good job of cooking and everything i've made in it has been very good.

Settings work well and give you the traditional low, high levels and a keep warm setting.

After hours of cooking, even the crusted parts near the top of the pot come off really easy.

A crock pot that does not burn my food after a work day on low!

Price

( i wish i knew it before purchase) amazon doesnt do the price match!

I had been looking at the all-clad crockpot, but couldn't bring myself to spend that much money.

I just advice you who is thinking to buy this from amazon, watch the price for a while and then order when its the best price.

But this could go down to $79 as far as i know.

Shipping

I have used this dozens of times since i have received this which is about a month.

So, i ordered it through amazon, and it came in no time and in perfect condition.

The price was right and the product was shipped on time.

Packaging/appearance

It also looks great, no need to hide it.

Also, while cleaning it once i bummed it into the side of my sink and huge piece of the ceramic rim came off of the insert.

I rate this slow cooker 5 stars but amazon's packaging of this zero.

Competitiveness

Considering the other choices out there and their quality (or lack thereof), the delonghi is a great value.

I replaced an older, larger crock pot with the delonghi and am very pleased with my choice.

I wouldn't have any other type of slow cooker now that i've experienced delonghi.

All in all i prefer a delonghi appliance over other brands and this is true for the crock pot as well, even with all its flaws.
