Pros

It needs to be refilled every few days. Even then, it is generally forgiving. I recommend for anyone first try when is empty the holder to know how works.

The quality of brew is great. The coffee tastes great and is delivered at the right temperature. The crema on top is delicious.

The frothing wand is excellent; it produces velvety microfoam, allowing me to create lattes and cappuccinos with barista-like precision.

Cons

If you drink a lot of straight espresso, this is not the machine for you. This machine lacks adequate power to make coffee at the correct espresso grind level. The grounds basket is a joke!

The coffee from this low-maintenance delonghi tastes the same and the cleanup is only seconds.

It is a great buy for the money!

We buy good beans from a local roaster (usually costs about $6 for a latte there) and just have been making it at home.

Cost of ownership and service life are important factors for me.

Competitiveness

This isn't a super cheap machine but it's way less expensive than many others that probably don't produce a better cup imho.

I bought this to replace older delonghi espresso maker that finally burned out.
