I'm not sure why it has so many mediocre reviews. For the price range, i couldn't be happier. Still a very good product from a very high end brand.
Cons
The steamer is complex and cannot be used without the frother2. The steam control is directly over the steam which can burn your fingers to operate it. The filter holder can't be locked into place easily. The result is no different from dripping machi... Read More
The crema is non-existent. Same locking push-button controls and cheap plastic construction. Badly aligned thin stainless steel panels, while kmix had sturdy cast iron sides.

I have had this for 2 years now and have been looking at buying it again for a friend or and while it does the job i now realize the automatic flow stop never worked which is quite disappointing
