Pros

I am very pleased with this machine and i hope it lasts. One important consideration is to consider purchasing the extended warranty. These machines tend to have a lifespan of around two years with heavy usage.

The de'longhi bar pump espresso and cappuccino machine is consistently of high quality. Produces nice expresso for not much money. I am not a fan of expresso so it's cappuccinos all the way!

Make a perfect froth every time. The frothing wand is the best i've ever used. The coffee is hot and the milk gets hot once frothed as well.

Cons

For the price it is unnecessarily difficult to use! I never want to use the machine since it is so hard to get the handle * on. They know it is junk and don't want to support it.

If you pack coffee too tight it clogs. If grind is too coarse, no crema. This fancy looking but * machine has so little power it will simply choke up.

There was water leaking out of the milk spout. It’s slow, it clogs/overflows and the height of the steam wand makes steaming milk challenging. The frothier doesn't froth; it simply heats the milk and leaves a few thin bubbles on top.

I descale with vinegar every 2 months, use a 51mm bottomless portafilter with a regular basket, use 15.

I would never go with another brand.
