Low speed is perfect for sleeping, as it is nice and quiet. It is noticeably quieter than our older portable ac. If you're just cooling down an area, it will be a bit noisy until the temperature is steady.

Using a couple of fans, the cooled air was distributed to the bedrooms. It cools down my bedroom which is upstairs and holds the heat pretty significantly throughout the day. It works best if your room is already down to the correct temperature.

Although it's a little pricey, i think it's well worth the investment. My first impression is that it is basically the same as the others that i have used. As for helping with the heal, that part works really, really well.

The cooling unit is loud and heavy. The hose attachment pops out when it is not used properly. The dehumidifier and air cooling is in poor design.

Also, the packaging is terrible. Against the instructions as per labels on box, and inside. Never did all 4 wheels touch the ground at the same time. Nt working properly.
