Pros

Easy to assemble and works beautifully. Maintenance is very easy (the installation too) the whole process of connecting the tubing for venting and the window kit and the connecting to the machine probably takes about 20 minutes.

The pinguino is a portable air conditioner. It's about as loud as a quieter motel unit, not too bad unless you are a light sleeper. The unit is pretty and it adds to the decor of the room.

The motorized air vent angle on this one is cool in that it can oscillate the direction of the air up and down. When you turn it on, the vent slowly pops up out of the top, which is kind of cool. It works by blowing warm air out through a window vent ... Read More

I am sorry to say but this air conditioning really misrepresents the information and cooling properties. Delongi is using deceptive advertising.

Seeing as how you're going to have the window shut, you can just remove the screen.

It was easy to set up (like, 20 minutes tops— counting time to remove packaging), works great!

Competitiveness

Powerful, cools my much larger ipen concept living room/kitchen area.
