The instructions are accurate, if you follow them correctly, this product works wonderfully.
I think my tank was just too rusted out and the rust was actually holding the tank together because once it was removed it started leaking

Imo if you are going to the trouble of dropping the fuel tank and replacing the sending unitpump take the extra few minutes to clean out the tank really well
