Colors should match no problem do not use a lighter to shrink the heat shrink if the fuel pump is removed from the fuel tank gasoline explodes

I have only had one of these pumps come back it was from water in the tank

Change the fuel filter at the same time thats normally what causes these pumps to fail in the first place

Check valve stopped working on the old pump so it would take to three attempts to start my 2001 chevy silverado
