I dont know if i would have bought it for the 50 i saw at some sites because that is pretty close to the original systems price

The home kit might even be better because there is none of that dreaded occasional static that comes unexpectedly when driving by any large objects on the receiving side of the satellite insert proper term here if there is one

My only complaint lies with the remote i didnt find it to be very user friendly besides the radio screen is too small to see from more than a couple of feet away
