Pros

Spinner wheels are smooth gliding and shift easily from two to four wheels and back again. Rolling on smooth surfaces through an airport is a wash. Easy to maneuver, even on uneven surfaces in italy. Rolling so easily through the airport, parking, sid... Read More

Zipper pulls fit a 3 combo lock with tsa compliance. They have tsa combination locks and another zipper which can expand the bag a couple of inches if needed. Bottom section has a compression strap and a zip pouch.

They're not as easily crushed which is great when toting wine or other breakable treasures. They are 100% polycarbonate which is strong but very lightweight.

It is also expandable if you're going to be traveling back with goodies from your trip. Delsey is a brand worth owning. If you want something that looks good after a few trips.

Cons

The case has a large front pocket for a laptop that severely reduces the main cargo space on the lidded portion for clothing etc. The inner zipper, as other people have mentioned is backwards and really quite annoying.

I want this company to contact me for a replacement or refund. Very deceptive.

The delsey was less than full with nothing "stuffed" to fit; i could certainly fit more items on top of what was packed.

I like the color, they packed well and am about to use on 1,000 mile car trip for first time travel trip.

Competitiveness

The travelpro has very slightly less wiggle and operates more smoothly than the delsey.

I have owned many other brands of luggage and delsey is my favorite mid-priced brand.

We also purchased another cheaper brand hardcase and the zipper split after the first trip.

The travelpro is significantly less weight than the delsey but, that is to be expected with hard vs soft luggage.
