Pros

Bought this as my son's very first library bookshelf. It’s the perfect size for them- ages 3&6. The book case is sturdy and fits most books. The wood is heavy, but this bookcase is sturdy.

Unbelievably easy assembly. It has the rotating locking nuts, which i typically hate.

Perfect match to other furniture in grandson's room. I have it next to an open window, praying it will clear.

It's very sturdy (i'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about it bowing or being flimsy? It is made of decently thick, good weight boards.

Cons

The fasteners are threaded wrong and won’t screw together. The included hardware is very flimsy and obviously didn't work for us. Spend the extra money to get something sturdier.

It was very easy to assemble & seems sturdy.

It was easy to assemble and very sturdy as my 9 month old who is 20lbs uses this accasonally to stand up.

However 1 star was lost due to having to redrill some holes.

The screws show on the ends, there are no caps to cover them.

Price

I would highly recommend this, especially for this price!

Very well worth it for the money and easy to assemble.

I think it’s about a $30 bookshelf.

It arrived while my granddaughter was napping, i put it together myself (68 year old granny!

Packaging/appearance

I have packed it to the brim with board and picture books and it is still standing sturdy!

Do not open this box in a babies/kids room.

Competitiveness

I thought about purchasing it for way too long comparing it to other shelves on amazon and i am so glad i got this finally.

The quality is better than the flimsy seeming adult bookshelves you can buy at brick and mortar stores.
