Pros
Easy installation no fuss. Original packaging. Could not be easier to install.
It fits my old one perfectly. Only negative is that it has a light, plastic-ey feel to it.
No more squealing leaking faucet when showering. Comes with the spout. Has a 1-11/4 white plastic thread adapter inside.
Life saver for us. This product from amazon makes it more affordable.
Cons
The one connection is brass, that screws into plastic and the rest of the spout is plastic. This should be stated somewhere. If you screw this in, it won't work.

Turns out that there is a small threaded brass piece a new one comes with this unit that screws on to the pipe plumbing

I didnt even realize it was a removable fitting so no other brand would ever fit

Since i didnt want to damage my pipe i removed the new brass insert from the spout and left the old one on my tub pipeused new oring from brass insert
