Yes, it’s expensive but it’s a beautiful fixture and i think it will last forever.
75 dollars extra for a 14 inch black rod is reckless and a waste.
It was over $150 cheaper here than the local supply company.

Brizo is the luxury version of delta and they have this exact unit for the more than double the price.

I would rarely use the shower head though because it was so high and located too close to the wall and would use the hand held sprayer instead

When i had the opportunity to receive and review this gorgeous delta product i was a little hesitant to order it as i just wasn’t sure i could make it fit with this shower system

Because the old shower head was fed through the unit with a flexible water hose and not directly through a 12 inch pipe from the wall i had to find a way to support its weight
