It's actually replacing a 25 year old delta faucet that has only needed minor maintenance the entire time.
Price
This can be very helpful saving money, with kids (or adults) that like running the sink full blast.
Although this is on the higher price range for faucets, i feel like this is a case of you get what you pay for.

Came with all the parts, even some tools.
Competitiveness
Also, this faucet is watersense labeled, using 20% less water than industry standards.
It is a bit more premium versus a store-brand faucet but the quality and design make up for it.

Many faucets do not include this and instead have a cheap strainer that is difficult to remove and reinstall

They are not included in this set and im confident that they arent meant to be there is not a logical space for them in the box

This is normal for faucet sets the supply lines are never included since some installations are different than others in fitting size and hose length and the manufacturer cant simply include every possible variation
