It works much better than the sling type as it keep the dog on the seat and off of the spanning fabric used in the slingtype. It handles my mastiff, german shepherd, and chow! The only thing is my dog slides around on this.

This cover is also water proof! I apply an extra layer of silicone waterproofing. It protects the seats from car seat crumbs, grime, and sharp edges as well.
Used in a hyundai sonata, plan on buying a second for a mid-size truck. This one covers alllll of the backseat. Fits perfectly in the back of my 2016 chevy silverado crew cab.
New model has mesh for airflow, a pocket for storage and water bottle. Better grippers on the backside.

Not quilted, not padded. They don't offer free returns, you have to pay for return shipping whether it's their fault or not.

Competitiveness
This is a plus in comparison to the normal hammocks because this one one goes all the way to the floor so my fat bull dog can still get in.
This is great customer service and it is better than amazon offered me.
None of them could compare to this one.
