The fact that we get a polished up next gen version of one of my favorites is just serendipity. For the most part it is a faithful remake of the original, but with some additional content and secrets to find.

I’ve been plays soulsborne genre since the very beginning, since *’s souls (the original) this game definitely lives up to the difficulty level of other souls games. As with any fromsoft game, the combat is exceptional.

Life, bro. Marriage, sis. Work, cuz. It's important to keep in mind there’s a stamina meter in this game.

Screen flips and flops causing fight disorientation. No care seemed to be put into this shoddy remake. An absolute disgrace to this franchise at it's worst.

It really seems like the developers lazily slapped a new coat of paint over decades old game mechanics and it shows. I feel this is an outdated game mechanic that from software rightfully abandoned. It's a sketch of dark souls, but that’s all it is.

Armor is very unbalanced and nearly useless. Even when trying to grind, it either takes an impossibly long time due to low rewards. Game becomes one big grindfest (same mobs over and over) not achievement.
