Pros & Cons
Pros
The denman d81l detangles my hair & makes it so soft. It does mess with my curl pattern, but my hair feels so soft and shiny that it's worth it. The brush seems to encourage my hair to go to its natural curl while also adding volume.
This brush is good for personal use or for gifting! I am totally obsessed with this brush. Very good mason pearson dupe at a great price. The amp; is almost comparable to my more expensive & prized mason pearson brush.
This brush brushes through all of the textures of my hair (from very fine near the top and front to thick and textured with ringlets at the back/bottom/nape of neck) it's very gentle on tangles on my long hair also! It also seems to be helping to slig... Read More
Cons
My 16 year old denman brush is a zillion times better made. The newer one that arrived is not the same as the one denman used to make a few years ago. Some have maybe 5-10 bristles per nylon head on the newer brush, whereas you can see how full the ol... Read More
The boars are way too hard and hurtful. It feels like wires are ripping my scalp apart. Not suitable for men with short hair.

Any dust or product accumulations are lifted and easily sweep away.
Not boar-brush-doesn't- really -brush -thru -all -your hair, but not so synthetic that it scratches your scalp.
Price
Very good mason pearson dupe at a great price.
I have two mason pearson brushes and this is a good dupe, especially for the price.
If you don't have the ~$350 to spend on the original, this is a great substitute.
Perfect hair brush, but kind of expensive.
Shipping
I opted to clean it vs exchanging, as it came from the uk and took a while to get here.
Competitiveness
The size is perfect & is almost comparable to my more expensive & prized mason pearson brush.
I bought this denman because i wanted a travel brush that i can take with me and was curious about this one and how it would co... Read More
Overall i think it is very comparable to the mp.
I grew up with mason pearson hairbrushes and these are comparable.
