Installation was mostly hassle free — my desk is kinda oddly thick for about a half an inch before it gets really shallow again so i had to completely unscrew the clamp to get it into place then reassemble it but i managed to get it clamped down nice and secure all the same

You get a clamp to hook up to your table or desk and then an extendable post to mount your ring light on

You can get the light up to over 30 inches tall and then tilt the light or turn it as you need to in order to get the light coverage the way you want it
